World Famous San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo cares for more than 4,000 individual animals representing 800 different species. Its collection of animals, as well as its plant collection of over 6,500 species, is acknowledged as one of the finest in the entire world. Among these animals are some of the rarest wildlife in the world, including koalas and giant pandas. Best value admission also includes unlimited use of Guided Bus Tour, Express Bus, and Skyfari Aerial Tram. The San Diego Zoo is centrally located, adjacent to downtown San Diego, in Balboa Park. San Diego Zoo Safari Park (Wild Animal Park)
Experience a unique adventure at the 2,100-acre Safari Park, where animals wander freely in surroundings much like their native homelands. A quiet railway, pathways and animal shows enable visitors to observe the animals and many species of exotic plants. Truly a zoo unlike traditional zoos. The San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park is located approximately 30 miles northeast of the Zoo in the city of Escondido. Parking is not included in the price of the ticket.
