Name That Wave!

The surfboard behind our front desk features a wrapped photo by famous local ocean photographer Aaron Chang. The pictured wave is considered the heaviest wave in the world with a deadly close-out barrel. Any guesses on the location?

TRIP TIP: Chang has several galleries in the San Diego area, and we encourage guests to hop on the Coaster train and head south to the Solana Beach station. Walk through the Cedros Design District, get lunch at The Wild Note Cafe next door to Belly Up Tavern, and continue South to the Aaron Chang Gallery.
