No, we are only permitted to provide RV camping. Tent camping is available at Carlsbad State Beach (760-438-3143) or Guajome Park (760-724-4489).
Paradise by the Sea does not have age restrictions for RVs. We only ask that your RV be presentable in appearance, clean, rust-free and legally registered as a Recreational Vehicle. Thank you.
Island sites are smaller 30AMP (usually 30-38 feet long). Premium sites are medium 30AMP sites (usually 35-45 feet long).
Both sites offer 50 AMP electrical hookups for larger RV's, and allow parking for 1 RV and 1 car. The Back-In is 45-60 feet long and wider than the Pull-Thru, while the Pull-Thru is 60 feet long. We ask that our front island Pull-Thrus be reserved for Motorcoaches.
Each site is paved and includes full hook-ups (water, sewer, electric, cable and wi-fi), along with a picnic table.
Check-in time is from 2pm-11pm. Our office closes at 9pm during Summer, and 5pm during Winter. After the office is closed, our evening security will greet you and guide you to your site. Our resort gate closes at midnight.
You can see the ocean from Paradise Cove, but not from any specific sites. The ocean is a short 3-minute walk out our beach gate. (250 yards, or 228 meters)
Our sites do not include firepits, but you are welcome to bring your own propane firepit (no wood fires are permitted). You are welcome to enjoy our Paradise Cove firepits that are lit every evening at sunset! BEACH firepits are available north of us at the Oceanside Harbor and Pier.
